Lawnton

This Lawnton project is a perfect example of how thoughtful design and precise execution can completely transform a challenging block into a seamless indoor–outdoor retreat.

The brief was clear: create a modern, functional pool and surrounding landscape that felt effortless, premium and well-integrated with the home — without overwhelming the limited space available. With a large retaining wall along the boundary and minimal room to work with, every design decision needed to be intentional.

We designed a 22.4-linear-metre custom concrete pool with strong, clean lines to maximise swim space while maintaining a refined, contemporary aesthetic. The pool’s shape was carefully considered to work with the existing layout of the home, ensuring smooth flow between the interior living spaces and the outdoor zone.

To elevate the finish, porcelain travertine coping and surrounds were selected for their durability, soft tonal variation and timeless appeal. This was paired with a mosaic waterline tile, adding subtle texture and depth without overpowering the overall design. The pool interior is finished in a Sky Blue pebblecrete, chosen to enhance water clarity and deliver a fresh, inviting colour under natural light.

Low-maintenance, tropical landscaping was introduced to soften the hardscape and create a sense of privacy, balancing structure with warmth. The planting palette complements the home and pool design, resulting in an outdoor space that feels calm, cohesive and built for everyday enjoyment.

Despite site constraints, the project was delivered on time and to an exceptionally high standard, with careful coordination across all trades to ensure no detail was overlooked.
